Q: Why does FX Bridge employ cookies?
A:
A "cookie" is a small piece of information, which a Web server can store temporarily with your Web browser. This is useful for having your browser remember some specific information, which the Web server can later retrieve. The FX Bridge Web site uses multiple servers that perform a variety of functions. Your browser needs to reconnect with these servers as you navigate the site. Cookies are required to ensure that your browser’s session with multiple FX Bridge servers is maintained properly during your visit.

Q: I use AOL. Which browser should I use?
A: AOL has a built-in browser that is automatically launched when you access FX Bridge from within AOL. However, you might want to minimize the AOL program and launch the Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape browser from your desktop to access our site.

Q: What encryption do you use?
A: FX Bridge will automatically select 40-bit and 128-bit encryption depending upon what is supported by your browser software. If your browser supports 128-bit encryption, your session is automatically encrypted at 128-bit by our servers. We recommend that you use 128-bit encryption for accessing FX Bridge. Here’s how to determine which encryption level is currently installed on your browser

For Internet Explorer perform the following:

Start Internet Explorer.
From the <Help> menu select <About Internet Explorer>.
For Netscape Communicator perform the following:

Start Netscape Communicator.
From the <Help> menu select <About Netscape Communicator>.
If you have a 40-bit encrypted browser and would like to upgrade your browser to 128-bit encryption, you must download a new browser from either Microsoft or Netscape.

Q: Why does FX Bridge support 40-bit encryption if 128-bit is superior?
A: FX Bridge supports 40-bit encryption to allow some overseas customers to access our Web platform.
